This rare old 1977 Ducati DM500 Sport Desmo has recently been imported from North America where its spent all its life.
There are a few bits missing; header pipes, silencers, side stand, kickstart lever, chain and engine internals being the most obvious. There are a few marks in the otherwise quite bright paint and the tank has a little bit of surface rust inside but much of the bike is bright with good solid parts making it a great starting point for a classic project!
The wheels look straight with clean alloy.
The tank is dent-free and feels solid.
The chainguard and mudguards are straight and solid.
Indicators and clocks look ok.
Headlight is in good condition.
Tailight ASSY is good.
With no engine internals present, we haven't had it running.
