This simply stunning Tax & MOT exempt 1975 Kawasaki KZ400S Twin has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life.

This and the fact it's only showing 3510 miles and has been in dry storage for a considerable time have helped maintain its boyish good looks.

While it looks entirely plausible, we have been unable to confirm this mileage reading. Please disregard it.

As you can see this bike is remarkably original & nearly complete missing just the battery & idiot lights cover.

It has stood a while, so the paintwork is faded. Throttle cables are not connected.  Sadly, the fuel tank is dented on the top.

BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS.

This is the actual bike you are bidding on – Not library pictures.

The wheels look straight with nice clean chrome rims, good hubs & brake plates.

Forks & yokes look straight with good chrome & clean alloy.

Mudguards are both solid & are tidy.

Taillight assy is good as are the headlight & hangers.

Instruments & switches look good.

Paintwork is slightly faded but solid, fuel tank is useably clean inside.

Exhausts are original & solid.

Seat is in very good condition throughout.

Indicators are tidy.

Chain guard is tidy.

The engine is cosmetically very clean, it turns over nicely off the kick starter – sounds/feels great & has compression - We have had it firing/running on easystart spray but the fuel system & carbs will need attention.

e.g. if you live 40 miles away it will cost £80.

National deliveries start at £195 inc for a standard size motorcycle to most mainland destinations –

Larger bikes or destinations in Scotland, Cornwall or within the M25 area will cost more.
